Focal nodular
hyperplasia (FNH) is a benign tumor of the liver that more frequently
occurs in women of reproductive age. More frequently the lesion is unique
and has typical findings at imaging techniques. Multiple localizations
of FNH (diffuse type) are very rare and they can simulate cirrhosis at
radiological findings. Histology is necessary for a correct
diagnosis.
